Recreating the reality of face-to-face human interactions is far more complex than providing a video conference. The three dimensional auditory and visual experience is re-creatable with a stereo microphone and camera. Tactiles can be conveyed with pressure devices, however this might be a few generations of devices away. Tangibles, however, could be modeled and stored as files for seperate savability and transaction. The storage of tangibles as independent files would allow for the distributed development of virtual environments.
